Description
Optiperl Fluorine Free DWR, is a nano-coating that gives treated surfaces an extremely high level of smoothness to deliver ‘water-glide’ performance. The optimised hydrophobic quality of the coating ensures that dirt particles rarely adhere to the coated substrate. When they do, they are very easily removed without the need for harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Optiperl Fluorine Free DWR provides treated surfaces the following characteristics:-
- A unique glide quality which is reflected in exceptional smoothness to the touch.
- Optimised hydrophobia – water runs off the surface.
- A high level of non-stick functionality
It also has the following benefits:-
- Invisible to the human eye (coating thickness to approx’ 150nm); totally translucent and doesn’t change optical values or change any surface colour.
- UV stable, abrasion resistant
- Resistant to temperature change
- Breathable
- Simple one part application process.
- Chemical resistant between pH 2 to pH 13
- Fluorine free

P303 + P361 + P353 – IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water /shower
P305 + P351 + P338 – IF IN EYES : Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
P337 + P313 – If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention
Application Instructions
Nanoflex® OptiPerl should only ever be applied to a clean and dry surface.
1) Use Signo NanoCare Pre-Clean with a lint free cloth / micro-fibre to thoroughly clean and
de-grease the surface.
2) Apply Optiperl to the glass surface using trigger spray. Polish-in with circular motions using
a lint free paper, linen or microfibre cloth until the surface is dry and free of visible streaks.
3) A thorough re-polishing with a dry cloth is recommended
4) The coating is fully hardened and waterproof after 24 hours.
Always use a clean lint free cloth and wear gloves during application.
