Showerguard™ Easy Clean Coating has been recently enhanced to meet the needs of a more environmentally considerate world. This has been achieved using Optiperl glass coating as its new active. Optiperl gives coated surfaces a new unique ‘water-glide’ functionality combined with environmentally responsible fluorine free technology which meets the green “high bar” by excluding all chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s) and perfluorochemicals (PFC’s) – which are particularly harmful to the environment.
Showerguard™ remains the most revolutionary and durable labour-saving product available in bathroom protection, it prevents limescale build-up and makes glass and other non-absorbent surfaces “easy-clean” while also being kind to the environment. Cleaning frequency and intensity is reduced , thus saving water and use of harsh chemicals.
Showerguard™ provides protection for shower enclosure glass, glazed ceramic tiles, porcelain and mirrors. Easy maintenance for new and existing bathroom furniture with the strongest and most durable glass improvement system available.
The nano-particles within Showerguard™ form a strong bond with the surface of the glass, glazed ceramic tiles, porcelain and mirrors giving surfaces a smooth anti-stain, non dis-colouring surface layer.
The coating is crystal clear, UV stable, chemically inert and extremely durable, having both hydrophobic and oleophobic capabilities providing a robust defence against the build-up of limescale, soap residues and urine scale. Cleaning frequency can be reduced by as much as 70%.
Showerguard™ products are all non-toxic and environmentally friendly, all packaging including bottles can be recycled and the cloths can be reused.

| Application: | step 1 use the cleaning and polymerising wipe/spray (LIQUID GUARD® clean and primer wipe) to degrease and clean the surfaces thoroughly. Only in case of extreme contamination (or limescale) should a pre-cleaner for the specific type of contamination be used. After the liquid has evaporated (circa 5 min at normal room temperature) a polymer layer is formed.
step 2 to activate the polymer layer so it becomes antimicrobial, wipe it over with the activating wipe (LIQUID GUARD® wipe)/Liquid Guard spray thoroughly as per step 1. step 3 after 2 minutes the surface should be buffed using the microfiber wipe/cloth until all visible streaks disappear. A thorough polishing will be necessary, especially on transparent or shiny surfaces. After 6 hours the coating is hardened and ready for use. |
