Sandblasted Glass Coating (SG 70)

From: £9.00

Sandblasted Glass Coating (SG 70) is a specialist protective coating that has been specially developed for use on sandblasted or etched glass. It gives glass a permanent anti-fingerprint finish that prevents glass aesthetics from being compromised either during installation or during its lifetime. Unlike other long-term sandblasted glass protectors, SG70 involves a simple one stage polishing-in process. There is no need rinse down with water after application. A superb smooth finish can easily be achieved by hand, as can be seen on the application video.

Coverage: 1l/100m2

N.B. All 1 litre bottles are shipped with a tamper evident screw tops. Trigger sprays are available to purchase on the site if needed.

Description

Sandblasted Glass Coating (SG 70) is a protective nano-coating for use on sandblasted or etched glass.

The smart coating gives glass a permanent anti-fingerprint finish that prevents glass aesthetics from being compromised either during installation or during its lifetime. The hydrophobic coating of the textured glass structure ensures that grease and dirt can be easily removed with conventional solvent-based glass cleaners.

For the glass processor or equipment manufacturer, SG 70 provides a quick and easy-to-apply solution to protect sandblasted glass against limescale, soap scum and other dirt/fingerprint build up and staining.

Nano Care’s range of glass-protecting/improvement hydrophobic and oleophobic coating products constitute the most comprehensive collection on the market. Once applied, nanoscale protective layers bond with the substrate to leave a smooth, anti-stain, non-discolouring surface layer.

Applications protect glass and polished porcelain with an ultra-hydrophobic film, reducing limescale and soap scum and providing an anti-fingerprint finish.

Application Instructions

Nanoflex® SG 70

1) After a pre-clean, the manual coating method involves a simple cloth application.

2) A small quantity (15 ml/m2) is applied to the surface, spread around using a clean cloth and polished out to achieve even coverage.

3) For larger sections, buffing-up to previously applied sections is easily achieved.

4) Coated products can be handled after 1 hour’s drying and dispatched on the day of application, full curing achieved after 24hrs at 20oC.

Use a clean lint free cloth for application and wear gloves
