This year Nano Care will be exhibiting their extensive range of concrete and building protection products at the Concrete Expo on the 8th & 9th October at the NEC Stand CE208. The Concrete Expo is taking place as part of the wider UK Construction Week event. With a focus on sustainability in the built environment Nano Care will focus on demonstrating how their range of smart nano-coatings prevent damage from environmental pollution and thus retain appearance, even after being subjected to graffiti.
Whether a building is a place of work or leisure, appearance can have a direct effect on the sense of wellbeing to its occupants, but perhaps more importantly, Nanocare’s smart coatings will significantly reduce the perpetual maintenance costs.
Nano Care’s range of breathable building protection products provide a non-sacrificial protection against erosion and degradation on a diverse range of building surfaces from concrete to natural stone on historical buildings and monuments. Their water-based, high strength, permanent bond SiO2 (silicon dioxide – quartz) based products offer a range of performance benefits : AG (anti-graffiti) repels the permanent staining effects of unwanted graffiti by preventing ‘ghosting’ of the residue after removal; hydrophobic and oleophobic performance across the range prevents the adhesion and build-up of air-borne and water-borne contamination. Additionally non-stick performance facilitates the easy removal of chewing gum from paving.
